I was just browsing through my Instagram feed when I ended up on the profile of The Thin Gold Line. and if you believe, like we do, that shapes can be very powerful assets, you should definitely check them out.
some companies have trademarked shapes that might not even be their logo but that are an important part of who they are as well – like the Coca Cola bottle or the three circles that make Mickey Mouse.
just think about it for a second. think about how much value and emotion Walt Disney succeeded in infusing into three basic circles. or how the only briefing that the original Coca Cola bottle designer got was: even if broken into hundreds of glass pieces, people should still recognize it as a Coca Cola bottle.
think about it. and give meaning to your shapes.
